This proposed hotel and residence is situated in downtown San Francisco. The simple stone grid serves to integrate the different program elements and creates a resolved uniform skin on an otherwise multitude of functions. The language expresses its residential quality through the materiality and warmth of the façade. Limestone piers frame the large glassy base that expose the lobbies and restaurant on the ground floor. A rooftop bar spills out to a terrace which faces the water.
