This office building attempted to revitalize the heart of Westport, Connecticut. Originally a renovation, this project broke down the scale of the original office complex and expanded the public realm by providing a visual connection to the adjacent river and the new public walkway along it. Linear glazing wraps the façade and provides an openness and a constant awareness of the river beyond. Two courtyards on either side are carved into the rectilinear form, producing landscaped entry points to the building’s central lobby.
